Get Online Week is coming soon and is packed with sessions to help you get the most from being on-line. To get prepared, join us for a session or two:

Rug Weaving

Learn the basics of making rag rugs from recycled clothing and fabric, with Gypsy Weaver Cathy Tobin. Reduce textiles waste and create something beautiful at the same time. Cost: $90 Next workshop Saturday 31 October, 10 - 1pm

Simple Woodwork & Woodwork
Projects POSTPONED

There's plenty of space at the Maldon Men's Shed to make sure you're safe whilst learning simple woodwork skills. Over 4 weeks you will build your own Adirondak Chair, all materials are included. This class is limited to just 6 learners. Starts Tuesday 28 July 6.30 - 9.30pm.
Cost: $55 or $40 concession

Learners who have attended Simple Woodwork can continue for a further 4 weeks working on a project of their own choice. Note: materials are not included. From 1 September 6.30pm - 9.30pm.

Introduction to Event Management POSTPONED
This 8 week course run by Pamela Jewson of Maxim PR & Marketing will introduce key topics like budgeting, risk analysis and evaluation to help plan a safe and successful event - with no budget blow outs! Starts Tuesday 11 August. Cost: $180 or $120 concession*
*a representative from a Mount Alexander-based community group will receive the concession rate

Totem Garden Sculptures POSTPONED

Use recycled steel and knotted rope to create assemblage maquette sculptures, with practicing sculptor and tutor Diane Thompson Cost: $185
