Improvs & Imagination Workshop 7

This workshop explores how techniques used in acting classes can be applied to writing fiction. 

Participants will learn how to use acting, storytelling, and writing exercises to create more believable characters, plots, and dialogue. 

Please note participants will be asked to step up and try a range of acting activities on the day. The aim of the workshop is for participants to develop quick thinking skills, create more natural-sounding dialogue and for them to become more comfortable with uncertainty in their writing process. It is anticipated a few of these techniques will assist participants to overcome ‘writer’s block’.
