About the event
Hobo Playhouse proudly announces Term 3 of its Acting for Beginners course, running from June 27 to August 15. The eight-week term will focus on Creating a Character. Experienced actors are invited to step further into the world of Method Acting in a grounded, approachable way. Through sensory exercises, imagination work, playful improvisation and monologue exploration, participants can discover how characters think, feel, and move.
Pre-requisite: participants need to have completed Hobo Playhouse's Acting for Beginners Level 1 or Level 2. The term will be followed with a Showcase of Scenes and Monologues on Sunday, August 23 at MNC.
Cost: $80 full/$60 concession.
