Maldon Neighbourhood Centre to re-open June 1

Created: Monday, 25 May 2020

The latest announcement from Premier Andrews is that there will be a gradual easing of restrictions throughout the state from 11:59pm Sunday 31 May 2020.

Restrictions on community services and local government facilities will be eased. Neighbourhood Houses can open again from 1 June with various stipulations.

Community facilities are permitted to open with no more than 20 people allowed in each separate space, subject to the four square metre rule, in addition to those required to operate the facility.

Community members are required to ensure appropriate physical distancing by keeping at least 1.5 metres between people at all times.

Maldon Neighbourhood Centre will:
- arrange the physical space to ensure those using the facilities can do so comfortably and safely
- ensure strict hygeine practices are in place at the Centre, enabling those using the Centre to look after their own and each-others' health.
