Community Bus
This is a local, flexible door-to-door community transport service.
Travel by donation $5 per day. The bus can accommodate up to 11 passengers and has storage room for luggage, wheelie walkers and shopping.
To book this service, please phone 5475 2093 at least one day prior.
You can use this service to go shopping, go to the station, GP and hospital appointments, the library, visit friends, go swimming, to the movies, the hairdressers for whatever you need local transport.
We meet the Airport Bus and V/Line trains so you can safely leave your car at home for trips to Melbourne or the airport. We provide flexible bus services between Maldon, Baringhup, Castlemaine, Chewton, Wesley Hill, Barkers Creek, Campbells Creek and links to existing PTV services.
The Community Transport Service includes trips to Castlemaine, Kangaroo Flat and Maryborough.
The schedule is as follows:
- Tuesdays: trips take in Maldon, Castlemaine and Kangaroo Flat
- Fridays: trips take in Maldon, Castlemaine, Baringhup and Maryborough
